About

I was born and raised in Concordia, KS. During high school, I participated in football, basketball and track, and ran track in college. After graduating from Ottawa University, I returned to Concordia to run a small sporting goods store with my parents. After we sold the sporting goods part of the business, we continued to produce trophies and plaques. I have also run a t-shirt and uniform business for the past eight years. During the last thirty years, I have coached high school football, junior high basketball and college, junior high and high school track. I also was a part-time FCA area representative in North Central Kansas for several years.

“With my background in athletics, FCA is the perfect ministry for me to get involved in. The vision and mission of FCA is why I want to be involved in this ministry. I love sports and I love Jesus! I want to see coaches and athletes transformed by Jesus Christ and then I want them to be able to share the love of Jesus with those that they influence.

”My wife, DeeDee, and I have two sons. Our oldest son, Aren, and his wife, Liz, live in East Wichita and will give us our first grandson in February. Our youngest son, Jace, lives in Dallas.
