Gary grew up in Humboldt, Kansas, and first experienced FCA’s influence during high school. He has been serving with Fellowship of Christian Athletes for almost ten years, and currently oversees FCA’s ministry in Southeast Kansas as the Area Director.

Gary’s focus as Area Director is to influence lives for Jesus Christ. "I see opportunities to impact the campuses and communities of Southeast Kansas like never before".

Gary and his wife Melissa life in Neodesha and have six children and 13 grandchildren.
