As Kansas Director of Donor and Board Development, Laurie has been overseeing the growth of donor support for Central Kansas FCA since 2018. “It’s such a blessing to see how grateful our donors are for the opportunity to change lives for Jesus,” she says. “I get to help make that happen!”

Laurie has more than 20 years of fundraising, sales, and communications experience. As Director of Development at Exploration Place, she led their recent capital campaign for the science center’s nationally awarded aviation exhibit. She has been the Director of Development for Kansas Policy Institute, where she significantly grew their donor base.

Laurie also served as a Kansas State Senator for the 33rd District, and is a past member of the Maize Kansas School Board as well as the Great Bend Kansas School Board. She and her husband Dave are members at Central Community Church. They have six adult children and twelve grandchildren.
