Area Representative

My name is Ryan Gottschalk, I grew up in Southern Illinois. Growing up playing sports and being involved in the church I found my joy and social life thriving. I accepted Christ at a young age but didn’t really “live a life worthy of the calling placed on my life”, until the my summer of my senior year in high school.

After high school, I got my youth ministry degree at Ozark Christian College and have been serving as youth pastor at Chanute Church Of The Nazarene. While serving I’ve made connections and have a heart for Southeast Kansas! Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the school, being married to my beautiful wife Kelsi, and raising our first child, Everlee!

My time in serving in the local school system has shown me the need for a Christ-centered mentorship program! Christ's example with the disciples was built on relationships, not church services. I envision a culture that is defined by relationships and honesty! FCA allows for this to take place!
